Who are We?
We are Lure Coursing Fanatics! The FIRST All Breed
Lure Coursing Club in the US. That's all we do - and we do it
well! We have a completely fenced field (no worries of dogs running
off or loose dogs interfering on the course), experience running dogs of
almost every breed (including the super fast sighthounds) and guidance
from those that have been in the coursing business for MANY years (special
thanks to Pat and Jim, our mentors!). And we have helped other clubs
get started! We want to bring the joy of coursing to ANY dog that
wants to run!
I've started a schedule. Be sure to check the website the day before to be SURE we are still running (no weather problems).

Julia Kamysz Lane first encountered Lure Coursing at Camp Dogwood then brought her dogs up to our place for some runs. Julia is the Activities editor for Bark Magazine and wrote the issue's piece on the fun of chasing that bunny!

We are now offering a discount rate for EVERYONE with our new 10 run LCF Pass. Instead of buying individual runs you can purchase the Pass for $40 - that's a savings of $10 off the regular price.
Passes can be purchased starting April 14th and can be used right away.

You let us know what picture you want, and the item you want it on, and we create the item for you to view and order from Cafe Press. Please check this out, we're really excited about it!
Update: I think there has been a
misunderstanding! Our club is not against sighthounds - not at
all! They are more than welcome to come and run the lure just like
all the other dogs!! It's just that where most lure coursing clubs
are for sighthounds first and other breed are sometimes welcome to ran
after practices, our club is for ALL breeds, ALL the time!!
We are a group of people who's dogs LOVE to
Lure Course! Chasing a piece of bunny fur on a string around a large field
might not sound like fun to you but our dogs are FANATICAL
about this game!!
Our club is in the South-Eastern Wisconsin area (near Kenosha) and open to ANY and all dogs* that want to try the sport of Lure Coursing!! It doesn't matter what breed your dog is - or if they are a mixed breed. If they like to chase things they will LOVE Lure Coursing!
Our motto is ... It Ain't Just for Sighthounds Anymore!
And many an owner has been surprised when their dogs, who previously showed no signs of being prey driven, fell under the Lure's spell!!
